Removal by immigration officer under section 17.
PART VI.
Supplementary provisions as to removal and deportation.
20. (1) Where a person is to be removed from Hong Kong
under section 17 in a ship or aircraft, an immigration officer
may give directions
(a)
to the master of the ship or commander of the aircraft
in which that person arrived in Hong Kong requiring
him to remove that person from Hong Kong in that ship
or aircraft at the expense of the owners thereof;
(b)
to the owners or agents of the ship or aircraft in
which that person arrived in Hong Kong requiring them,
at the expense of such owners, to remove that person
from Hong Kong in any ship or aircraft notified in
the directions, being a ship or aircraft of which
they are the owners or agents;
(c) to the said owners or agents requiring them, at the
expense of such owners, to make arrangements for the
removal of that person from Hong Kong in any ship or
aircraft bound for a specified country and to secure
him a passage to that country;
(a)
to the owners or agents of any ship or aircraft bound
for a specified country requiring them, at the expense
of the Government, to make arrangements for the remo-
val of that person from Hong Kong and to secure him a
passage to that country, notwithstanding that such
person did not arrive in Hong Kong in a ship or air-
craft of which they are the owners or agents or in
any ship or aircraft.
