(2)
A person in respect of whom directions are given under
subsection (1) may be placed under the authority of an immigra-
tion officer on board any ship or aircraft in which he is to be
removed in accordance with the directions.
(3) Where the ship in which a person arrived in Hong Kong
is a ship not exceeding two hundred and fifty gross tons
(a)
the master of that ship may be required under subsec-
tion (1)(a) to remove that person from Hong Kong
forthwith in that ship; and
(b)
an immigration officer may take such steps as he
thinks necessary to procure the immediate departure
of that ship from Hong Kong.
(4)
A person may be removed from Hong Kong under section
17 by land to a specified country; and for that purpose may be
taken in the custody of an immigration officer or police
officer to the place at which he is to be removed.

(1) A person in respect of whom a removal order or a
removal order deportation order is in force may be removed from Hong Kong in or deportation order.

(2) The Colonial Secretary may give directions to the
master of any ship or the commander of any aircraft which is
about to leave Hong Kong requiring him to afford to any person
in respect of whom a removal order or a deportation order is in
force, and to any dependants of his specified in the directions
(a)
a passage to any specified country; and
(b) proper accommodation and maintenance during the passage.
