Mr. Primrose said he had received a "very high degree of cooperation
from government departments," and had had no difficulty obtaining the
information, papers, and files he needed to enable UMELCO to give the fullest
and most careful consideration to each case.
This was a "small beginning," with a few "modest successes," but
the basic procedure had been established, which he hoped would stand the
office in good stead for the future.
"The purpose of the UMELCO office is to help people who are having
difficulties with government departments
It has so far not been fully
utilised by the general public
