Certificates of crizin
In cases where either Government requiran the presenta-
tion of certificates of origin in connection with goods imported from the other country, such co.tificates will
be issued by such Chambers of Commerce, Char.bers of
Handicraft or other authorities as either Governzent has
notified to the other. The certificates of origin will not reruire ingalisation by diplomatic or consular agencies except in so far ac the twe Governments for this purpose previously agree on other conditions.
III. Pilzo
1. Imports of foreign films in the United Kingjoz are not
restricted by number. Import licences are not resuired,
but the conceccial exhibitina of these films 16 aubject
to the operation of the United Kingdon screen Tuota
which cases available 704 of the gereen tice for the
showing of foreign filos.
2. The import and exhibition of foreign feature filme in the original version (with or without sub-titles), of
cultural, documentary, @ju:ational on' inatructional
filss, as well as of children'ɛ and advertising filzo,
a ́m not subject to any restrictions in the Peceral Republic. Import licences for these films are not e
vived.
3. The Federal Government will sympathetically and ɛe- nerously license for exhibition beyond the actual rate of licensing in the film licensing year 1958 – 59 (ending 31 August 1959) feature files of United
Kingdon origin of which the German distribution rights, including the right of subsequent synchronisation of
these files, are held in the United Kingdoɛ. Theo
films will be subject to a contractual agreement with
at least one Gersan distributing firm or be distributed
by non-independent branches of the British producer firm in the Federal Republic.
