The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The reprosentatives, of the Governtent of the United Kinguc of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Fedoral Republic

of Ge:pany convened in Bonn on 20 July, 1967, 1. order to Jiscuss trade between their two countries in 1967. They reached the following understanding on arrangements for trade botwoen on the one hand the United Kingiom and those territories for whose international relations the Government of the United Kingdon are responsible (hereinafter referred to as "ependent Overseas Territories") and on the other hand the Federal Republic of Germany (hereinafter referred to as the "Peleral Republic").

1. Quotas

1. The Federal Government is prepared to approve imports from the United Kingdon and its Tependent Overseas Territories during the period 1 January to 31 receber 1967, in accordance with the quotas shown in the

Annex.

2. No special arrangements have been rade in coopect of importa from the Pederal Republic into the United Kingdom, since the importation of all goods which are of interest to the Federal Government has osen liberalised in the United Finador ("Open General Licence" of "Open Individual Licence") : can be effected under global quotas.
