We have omitted the reference to provision for consultation in the event of quotas being reimposed on United Kingdom imports of canned and mottled apples on this we think is covered by paragraph 4 of the drift Agreed Minute. event it scers somewhat oddly drafted by comparison with the paragraphs on butter and domestic conl.
I should be grateful for early comments upon the enclosed drafts and in any event by September 22nd. In view of the time scale it seems unlikely that we can present Agreed texts to the Benelux representatives in time for a substantive discussion on drafting in October, but we would see advantage in being able to hand over the draft text at the proposed meeting,
