Anglo Benelux Agreed Mirute on Trade
Following my letter of 2nd June and the subsequent inter-departmental corrispondence Tippetts wrote to Gelderman and Van Coppenolle on the 3rd July giving our comment. on the Benelux draft and explaining that while we were prepared to accept it for one year we would prefer a more thorough going redraft and would put forward proposale of our .wn. Se have now had replies from Gelderman and Van Coppenolle sugge ting a meeting of officials in Cet-ber to dipruse the final drafting of the 1967 Agreed Minute and for an excllenge f views on the form which future Agreed Minutes might take. We consider that such a meeting would be useful, but it will be necessary for us to clear cur ideas on the ontent o
