The above crowd returned for a repeat performance, dispersed to C.T. One gas grenade thrown by Gurkhas.

An L.M.G. was observed on the hillside to the East of the bridge in C.T. and a Chinese male carried several baskets of stones over the demarkation line and placed them about 20 yards inside B.T.

Another gas grenade was thrown as the crowd returned.

Again the crowd returned and another gas grenade was thrown and one gas cartridge fired.

Another gas cartridge which was fired landed in C.T. to the east of Lo Wu Bridge in the vicinity of about 50 persons. At this juncture the number of P.L.A. on the bridge increased.
