Six "Man Ping" were seen setting up another L.M.G. on top..of the guard tower in C.7. which was later protected by sand bags.

Border tense (Lo Wu) but quiet and the number of people in C.T. close to the border had decreased.

Ten persons threw stones at Man Kam To Police Post from C. T. but were dispersed by C.C.A. Ten minutes later a crowd of 25 assembled on the Bridge. They dispersed of their own accord at 1930 hours.

3 groups of farmers and students, each of 100 persons approximately, walked up to Lo Wu Bridge (C.T.) but did not cross. They had at least one red flag. They shouted anti-British slogans, sang songs and then filtered back into the area of the Customs (C.T.).

All quiet at Lo Wu, Man Kam To and Sha Tau Kok.

Lights on the C.T. side of Lo Wu Bridge were all switched off. Switched back on at 2344 hours.
