C.P.G. Fishing Junk sailed down' Shum Chun River East to West. Several youths shouted "Strike down running dogs" and "Strike down Lo Wu men" at Police U.B. and 1.0. Personnel,on the Bridge.
Six C/Fs stood in ́S.T.K.(C.T.) and beckoned to Gurkha soldiers to cross to C.T. There being no reaction C/Fs left.
Five Chinese boys aged 12-15 years, crossed Lo Wu Bridge into B.T. with a basket of stones and bottles, which they threw at U.B. duties on the Bridge. D.P.C. 6885 of S.B./Lowu was standing behind the wire fence near the steps leading to the Immigration Office, when he was hit above the right eye by a stone from a catapult, and was taken to Sheung Shui Clinio for treatment. He had one stitch put in his wound and returned to duty. The stoning continued until 1350 hours when they returned to C.T. No damage to property.
Five Chinese youths crossed the Lowu Bridge into B.T. approximately 15 yards from the Borderline and threw bottles containing dirty water and white powder at the Immigration Officer. They returned to C.T. at approximately 1430 hours and were apparently scolded by the P.L.A. bridge guards. No injury or damage resulted.
The same group of youths mentioned above crossed into B.T. at Lowu and threw stones and bottles at the Immigration Office. No injury or damage resulted.
Intermittent stoning continued at Lowu by boys from C.T. between 1545 hours and 1620 hours, while travellers were orossing into B.T. No injury or damage resulted.
Some five Chinese boys who crossed Lowu Bridge into B.T., fired catapults and throw stones at the Gurkhas in I.0. compound. They also set off two firecrackers. No injury or damage resulted.
