Headquarters

Posts for the City Hall are now shown under a separate Head (80) in view of the fact that the City Hall was opened to the public in March 1962 and is now functioning as an individual unit.

Of the 8 additional posts of Clerk, 2 are required to meet expanding clerical commitments, 1 for the new Health Office at Kwun Tong and 5 for the new multi-storey car park on Murray Parade Ground. A total of 18 additional posts of Clerical Assistant are provided, including 6 for the Hawker Control Force, 4 for district health offices, 5 for the new Kowloon Tsai Swimming Pool and 3 for the Personnel and General Registries at Head Office. The 3 additional posts for the registries are offset by a reduction of 2 posts of Clerk.

One post of Storekeeper Class III and 2 posts of Labourer are provided for the new Main Store

in Kowloon, offset by the reduction of 1 post of Stores Attendant.
