The Treasury Accountant establishment is reduced to 13 by the transfer of 1 post to the Secretariat establishment.
Two additional posts of Clerk are required for the Treasury Establishment section and the remaining two posts are for leave reserve purposes. The seven new posts of Accounting Machine Operator are offset by a corresponding reduction in the number of Clerical Assistants. Of the six additional posts of Clerical Assistant, which are partly offset by the reduction of three posts of Clerk, two were approved by Special Warrant in 1961/62 and the remaining four are needed to cope with increased activities in the Cor- respondence and Revenue Branches.
Under Other Charges Annually Recurrent, the vote for Maintenance of Office Machinery and Equipment has been increased to meet higher service charges for old machines, service charges for new machines and the purchase of paper and supplies for a new Verifax Copier.
