The main changes in the establishment are:

(1) The reorganization of the Department from five divisions into three: Administra-

tion, Development and Control.

(2) The transfer of 36 posts from the Development to the Control Division, and of 9

posts to the Administration from other Divisions.

(3) Regrading and a change of titles in the lower ranks of the Preventive Service,

combined with a reduction of 6 posts of Revenue Inspector.

(4) The replacement of 4 posts in the Statistics Branch by 13 new posts to operate new Hollerith equipment: the new posts will not be filled until September - November 1958.

(5) The abolition of one supernumerary post of Assistant Trade Officer in May 1958, and of 15 posts of clerk and one post of Hollerith Machine Operator in the Statistics Branch by the end of 1958.
