CZECH CRISIS
(Continued from" Page 1)
The Liberal paper, News-Chronicle,; declares that the Fuehrer will de- mand not only reorientation of the Czechoslovak foreign policy but also complete removal of Czech police officials from Sudeten Ger- man districts, this point häving also been insisted upon by Herr Konrad Henlein in his Carlsbad programme.
The paper also mentions the "military problem" declaring that the Prague Government would be willing to include Sudeten Germans in the in- fantry and cavalry of the Czechoslovak Army. but not exclusively Sudeten Germän detachments in the artillery or air force.
Nor will the Czechoslovak War Ministry permit the Germans to occupy high commanding posts in the army, according
the paper, since this would place them in a position to disrupt the force from within.

Sun Yat-sen's Principles
(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT)
Canton. September 4.
Dr. Sun Yat-sen's principles for the salvation of China are to be studied this autumn from a new angle by university students in the Sun Yat-sen University here and other national, universities. throughout China. This is the decision of Mr. Chen Lieb-fa, Minis- ter of Education, who is an ardent supporter and pillar of the Kno- mintang and has been most active in Kuomintang affairs for the past ten years.

Through the drawing of Herr Hitler to the negotiations the situation has become international and European diplomats are re- quired to tackle the problem which has already reached the crisis stage.
In conclusion' the paper stresses the importance of disassociating the problem and its solution from the threats of armed intervention, and expresses the hope that this standpoint will also prevail at Nuremberg-(Transocean).

The view is expressed here that one of the most important weeks in 1938 began on Monday when all eyes" were turned to the Nutemberg rally where numerous French newspaper correspondents have been sent.
