Freight And Asiatic Passengers Returns

(BY LONGSHOREMAN).

The freight returns, received from the Harbour. Once during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday, showed a fairly high torinage movement, a large pro- portion of which being made up by British ships.

The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 5.199 tons, with British steamers carrying 987 tons.
