Saturday, Sept. 14. Sava prices rose yesterday to the extent of 3/16 for Ready and 1/4 for Forward, the quotations being 29-9/16 and 29-6/8 respec- tively. Advices reported India and China as having bought. Spe- culators operated both ways. Buyers were satisfied. After the official fixing sellers were quoted at 1/15 under the fixed rates.

In America the rate remained at 85-5/8 for spot.

The London/New York cross- rate was higher at 494-1/8 and the New York/London rate was also higher at 494-5/8.
