TIN QUOTA REDUCTION

Paris Nov. 22. The International Tin Commit- tee has decided to maintain a re- quction in the quotato 40 per cent. The consumers representative in the person of Mr. fonn Hughes of the United States Steel Corpora tion attended the Tin Committee meeting for the first time,

The export figures for October are Dutch East Indies 149 tons, Nigeria, 428, Bolivia 1,919, Malaya 255, and Siam 866 tona.

The Committee, decided to re- commend the percentage of stan- dard tonnage to be exported for the three months ending March 81, 1935, bo 40 per cent. A special fixed quota of 4 per cent was sanctioned by a supplementary. agreement which will expire on December 31-Reuter.

London Forecast Stocks: Wall Street is expected to open quiet, though values are likely to show some irregularity due to the uncertainty surround- Ing the domestic situation.

Cotton Cotton is anticipated to be higher in sympathy with Liver- pool and Bombay. There have been substantial and welcome rains in the West, where a fore- cast of colder and more unsettled weather
