A movement is afoot to obtain public exhibition in London of a status which, though famous in history, is known to few. This is the colossal marble statue of Napo- igan by the Itailun sculptor, Anto- nto Canova, which was acquired by the British Goverment in 1815 and presented to the Duke of Welling- ton.
