Specu- lative buying continued, but specu- lative transactions on the other side of the market were also re- corded. China sold. The closed on the dull side. A fairly active market was reported throughout the day at official tates. In New York the price was 55. 3/8 up.

The heavy decline last Tuesday in the raw rubber markets in New York and Singapore, was reflected in, the Local Rubber Share Market. Buyers reduced their rates, but sellers were not inclined to follow, which position resulted in very few shares changing hands. There was a little more activity in the Gen- eral Market, led by.
