EASTERN AND AUSTRALIAN SAILINGS (SOUTH)

Feeling is growing among in"NANEIN” Auential members of the MC.C."NELLORE" that a decision on the leg-theory "TANDA" controversy should" be arrived a before the Australians leave Eng- land.

Australla is not the only in- terested party. The problem has been raised in more or less acute form by certain events in the county championship this year, and may cause trouble when the English side goes to the West Indies in December.

Many English cricketers may resent the use of leg-theory tactics such as were employed by the West Indiana at Manchester on their last visit to this country. Obvious- ly, however, no protest can be made if the M.C.C. maintains its position of approving of fast leg-theory by Implication.
