Commodity Index Asia Lands, Limited, has received the following report form their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. The process of consolidation con tinued the not result being practically & stand-off from all groups. However, substantial buying seems ready to enter on any modest set-backs, The same situation is prevailing on the bond market. A mild reaction would not be surprising, but does not seem definitely to be indicated yet..

Wheat: The market responded to a renewal of buying on the belief that opposition to the President's policy would be overcome and commodity prices would be enhanced. Realising was better, absorbed.

Cotton: Selling was quite active, including further sales which are believed to be liquidation of concentrated holdings. Buying by spinners". is lesa, angent. Far Eastern and Continental interests however, bought, on set-backs.

Silver: There was some scattered liquidation due to the lower London parity and the early decline of stocks. Trade interests were buyers on the scale down. There was evidence of short covering on the decline. Business Done: 2,850,000 shares. "
