MEMORIAL TO W. L. PATTENDEN

Appeal For Contributions There are many friends of the late Walter Leslie Pattenden who feel that his memory should be perpetuated in this Colony, where for thirty years he lived and worked and served his fellowmen, For this reason it is proposed to erect in St. John's Cathedral, to which he was devotedly attached, a Memorial Tablet, which by its permanence will secure that W. L. ་ ན་ Fattenden be not forgotten.

s.

Owing to the generosity of local firm, the cost of the tablet will be small, and it is thought that the amount will soon be over- subscribed. If this is so the sur- plus will be used for the provision of a Book of Services, which by its constant use will be a frequent reminder of him for whom those services were continual inspira-

Mon.

Contributions, no matter how small, towards this memorial fund will be welcomed and acknowledg- ed by elther the Right Rev. Dean A Swann er Mr. P. S. Cassidy.
