Tientsin, July 97.-A conference of the Consular body in Tientsin took place this morning at the German Consulate-General to con- sider the question of the naviga. tion on Pei Ho River, which leads to Tientsin from Tangku. Since | the middle of June, sand and mud have accumulated in the Pei Ho and all steamers are now forced to stop at Tangku.
