DEATH OF SENIOR SURGEON.

The death of Doctor W. W. Wingate-Saul, senior surgeon of the P. and O. Steam Navigation Company, will be deeply regretted by a large circle of friends, ashore and afloat, says the Journal of Commerce of July 23.

Ho had served for many years in the P. and O. Company, and was well known and highly esteem- Jed amongst all with whom he came in touch, passengers and personnel of the company's fleet, alike. Only a little while ago he took over
