BRITISH SHIPS COLLIDE.
Hamburg, Nov. 29-A collision occurred at the mouth of the Elbe the British last night between yteamer Selby (1,500 tonn) outward bound, and the British steamer River Ribble (1,100 tone), inward bound. The River Ribble was bad ty holed amidehips,

of the flooded wew were sleeping, were Lout, and the crew were rescued only with considerable difficulty The captain bonched his vessel to save her from sinking.
The Selby's bows were badly damaged, but she was able to dock under her own steam. No loss of life is reported.
