An historic bell belonging to the Shinagawaji Temple of Tokyo was taken to Vienna for exhibition which more than half a century ago purposes and left in Europe, was returned to Japan on April 20. In 1871 the bell was exhibited at a World Exposition in Vienna and then was lost sight of until recog nised by a Japanese who was at tending the Conference at Geneva who saw it at the entrance of a museum, there.
