the Asama Maru, and the newest The Tatsuta Moru, lister ship to addition to the NYE. fleet of ocean liners, is due to arrive here from Manila early this morning.
She is commissioned on the Orient California Bervice and, after completion of her equipment; | she left Nagasaki on the 7th instant on her maiden voyage for Manila, where a very elaborate reception was held on the 8th instant, She left Manila "for this port on Wednesday.
As advertised elsewhere in this issue, the Tatauta Maru will be thrown open for inspection to-mor row afternoon. from 1p.m. to 5 p.r.

MARINE COURT CASES. ́ ́
For carrying a load of cargo on her boat which is licensed to carry passengers only. Leung Tai was fined $10 by the Marine Magistrate yesterday.
The master of another cargo boat was up for the same offence, but as he bas already had a previous caution; he was fined 813.
Three mistresses of cargo boats were each fined $3 for lying inshore during prohibited hours.
