Ling Nan had been sold to the Ho Thong Shipping Company at Singapore by the present owners- Mesars Williamson & Compan Our representative interviewed both parties and learned that the Ho Thong Shipping Company have applied for the purchase of this vessel as yet, however, the forme+" KALYAN have not been agreed upon, but the+KASHGARTM present owners inform us that their MIRZAFORE price for this vessel is somewhere in "MOREA" the region of $500,000.

Attack On "Lungshan" Female Passenger.

When the ss. Lung Shan arrived 'from Canton on Wednesday night a Chinese passenger was handed over to the Police. It is alleged that the man attempted to push a female passenger overboard about, three hours after the vessel had left Centon. The exact details of the Incident have not been disclosed but Captain B. Thompson, the master of the Lung Shan, said that the purser rushed to the bridge with a cry of Man Overboard." The vessel was stopped and pat. about but when it was learned that nobody had fallen, óverboard the journey was resumed. "According to several paasengers the man was trying to pull the woman out onto the passenger deck, but he used such force that she was nearly pushed overboard."
