"Why, Helen, every meal was a banquet! Breakfast at eight, bouillon at eleven, lunch at one, tea at four, and dinner at seven. If only the scales had lied in my favor, I could have had sandwiches and tea before going to bed every night. The menus aboard the Presidents are too grand to describe.”

The week end baseball games played on the Happy Valley diamond produced many thrills. CUP FOR HOME-RUN KING. In order to encourage baseball, Mr. A. Gascon of the Gascon Motor Co., has kindly given a handsome silver cup for the player who secures the most home runs this
season.
This is indeed encouragement and I hope players will practice hard and try their utmost to bag as many home runs as they can, and good luck to the winner. I hope his score will be one to please Mr. Gascon. I can almost see Zafra casting an eye on the much coveted trophy. Anyway he is the likely winner.
