SHIPPING NOTES.

The B.I. steamer Talma arrived on Bunday morning from Osaka and Amoy and brought 637 tons of general cargo, 2,100 cases of matches and mail for dis charge here. The Talma leaves for Cal- catto rid Singapore today at noon.

From Calcutta and Singapore" the Japanese steamer Muroran Märg arriv- ed yesterday morning with a cargo of 5,955 tons for discharge here. The N.Y.E. will despatch her for Kobe direct, to-day at noon

"Two steamers are expected to arrive this morning from Shanghai. The NFK. steamer A Haru coming from Japan en roule to Australia, and the Glengarry of the Glen line bound for London and Rotterdam.'

HARBOUR COLLISION,

While under way in the harbour, the steam-launch Tak Fat, belonging to the Hung Tak Co., collided with a cargo boat which was going towards the Praya, causing damage of approximately 222 to. the cargo boat. ::

The master of the launch alleges that he shouted to the cargo boat when he was approaching hut that they paid no attention. He made all efforts to avoid a collision.

Meanwhile, the matter has been report ed to the Harbour Master.
