A notable feature of the new 1927 programme, is the growing popularity of the six-cylinder engine. It was, at first, regarded as a "luxury" design. It was fitted only to the higher-powered and more expensive cars.

Experience has demonstrated that the unit has so many advantages, over the four cylinder type that there is reason' to believe that in time the "six" will become standard for all cars above four toen horsepower, R.A. C. rating.
