THE WRECKED "CHINKOA." The B. 1. steamer Janus, which arrived at Penang recently, reported that she had spoke a Japanese steamer and 16ceived information that part of the wreckage of the ill-fated Chiak had been observed floating in the vicinity of the spot from which the vessel sent ont messages of distress.
The 8.5. Lena on reaching Colombo, on May 10th reported that she intercepted a message from the Chinkan, which was following on the track of the ill-fated B. 1. in Okara, to the effect that the Chakan bad struck an unknown wreck.
