The B.M.S. Monteagle arrived at Shanghaj on August 28th, left there next morning, and is due at Moji to-day, at

The R.M.S. Empress of Japan arrived at Yokohama on August 27th, left there next day, and is dus at Hongkong on September 4th at 6 am.

The M. S. Empress of Rueria arrived Yokobaina on August 26th, left there at noon ext day, and is due at Van- couver, B. on September 8th.

The s.8. Pyrrhus (Blue Funnel ino) left Singapore on August 8th for Hong- kong, and is due here on September 1st.

The T.K.K... Koren, foru arrived at Yokohama on the 27th inst, and sails the 30th inst.. being due at this port on September 19th.

The T.K.K. & Tenyo Maru sailed from Shanghai on the sth instant, and will be due at Hongkong on the 31st instant, at daylight.

The depression to the east of S. Luzon has not developed. The trough of low pressure now covers the N. China Sen.
