We have a play written by a member of Parliament, Mr. Harold Smith, which has bean produced at the Ambassadors' Theatre. It is called “The March Hate.” Anel is full of fun and frolic, in which Misa May Brough shines as a Cockney and Miss Mary Forbes works hard and with success; in fact all taking part have to work to keep the farce going.

At the Court Theatre has been produced 'an Indian play by the celebrated poet, Labiadranth Tagore. There is no value in the piece, except for a few poetic lines. Sir James M. Barrie will he rather busy in the autumn, In addition to his new comedy, "The Legend of Leonora,” in which Sir John Hare and Mrs. Patrick Campbell are to appear, Sir James has just written a new one-act play to be pro- duced as a curtain raiser the same evening. He has also written a play entitled "Half an Hour," which is tu br put on at the London Hippodrome with Miss Irene Vanbrugh as lead. This will be the story of a woman's life told in half an hour in three scenes,
