UNITED STATES TRADE WITH THE PHILIPPINES.

Washington, August 4th. Farures just made public by the Department of Commerce and Labour show so healthful an Increase in the commerce between the United States and Philippine Islands as to ocassion ortender comment throughout the country, and call forth various editorial comments. The of Bois! figaros for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1910, show the total exports to the Philippines to have heen $16,832,645, as compared with $1,189,441 the previous year and $11,541,732 in 1908.
