Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, is required to address his/her objection in writing to the Secretary for Transport, second floor, East Wing, Central Government Offices, Lower Albert Road, Hong Kong not later than Tuesday, May 21, 1996.

Construction of new vehicular bridge in Tuen Mun

The Government proposes to construct a new vehicular bridge across a drainage channel at Wo Ping San Tsuen in Tuen Mun to replace the existing one nearby.

The proposed project is in connection with the widening of a drainage channel at Wo Ping San Tsuen under the Village Improvements and Development Schemes in the New Territories 1995-96 Programme.

The proposed bridge will be of 11.5 metres long and four metres wide. The project will also include other related ancillary works.

The existing bridge will be demolished when construction of the new one is completed.

A notice of the proposed works was gazetted today (Friday).
