Mr Benjamin MOK Ni-hung, JP

Mr Mok joined the Hong Kong Government service as an Assistant Statistician in 1959. He has spent his entire career in the census and statistics field and was promoted to Commissioner for Census and Statistics in 1989. He has wide experience in data processing and statistical work, particularly in social and demographic statistics. In recent years, he has been closely associated with the broadening of the scope of statistical work to cope with the demands of a rapidly changing and developing Hong Kong.

Mr Michael SZE Cho-cheung, JP

Mr Sze joined the Hong Kong Government service in 1969 and was appointed Director of Marine at the beginning of 1990. His early government career included taking charge of squatter control and later as Deputy Secretary for the Civi] Service. But his longest association has been with the Trade Department over a period when Hong Kong's trade links were undergoing a significant expansion. He was Director of Trade before taking up his present appointment.

Mr Patrick John WILLIAMSON, JP

Mr Williamson joined the Hong Kong Government in 1964 and was appointed Commissioner of Customs and Excise in 1986. A significant. part of his service has been spent in District Administration and his other posts have included Deputy Secretary for

for Security and Commissioner for Recreation and Culture. His service in Customs and Excise coincided with a major re-organisation of the Department. He was recently appointed to take charge of Hong Kong's relations with the EEC in Brussels.

Mr CHOW Kwan-sing

Mr Chow has been closely involved in community work in Tsuen Wan District for over 50 years. He founded the Yan Chai Rospital, and also the founder and current Chairman of the Tsuen Wan Trade Association which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. He is member of a large number of trade and industry related committees and has sponsored and organised many district activities.
