PRESS CENTRE

For the omvenience of the media, a press centre will be set

up inside the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Gymnasium II and half of the

adjacent lobby. The press centre will be one floor below the dounting

centre in the arena. ▲ floor plan of the press centre is at inner 7.

The press centre will come into operation from 7 an on

September 26 until all electim remlts are knom.

Six separate bootha for broadcasting will be provided inside

the Gym for use by the four radio channels and the two television

atations. Statims requiring additional communications equipment can

have them installed after 10 am on September 25. All equipment mist

be removed before 3 pm on September 27.

Parking spaces inside the Stadium and on the opposite side of

01 Kwan Road have been reserved for outside broadcast vehicles.

A working area with typewriters, result forms, and stationery,

will be provided for media representatives both inside the Gym and in

the lobby. An area inside the Gym will be soremed off as a rest/

interview ZOCH, Television sets will be installed to nable journalista

to watch election-related programmes.

There will be eight wireless talephmes inside booths for use

by the press.

Refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks and sandwiches) will

be available throughout the day.

There will be a GIS deak in the press omtre for the collection

and dissemination of election news and other related storie

enquiries on the election should be directed to this GIS deak on that
