Mr. Roy Albert WHEATLEY
Mr. Wheatley has served in Fire Services for 27 years, in Britain
from 1951 to 1963 and since then in the Hong Kong Fire Services.
He has served in all branches of the service, including command
of operational fire divisions, fire prevention and H.Q. planning duties.
His skill, leadership and determination at countless dangerous and
trying emergency incidents throughout his service have contributed -
significantly to the saving of many lives and much valuable property from
fire and other calamities.
Badge of Honour
Mr. CHAN Tak-yuen'
A leading member of the Shau Kei Wan community: founder member
of the Shau Kei Wan Kaifong Welfare Advancement Association, currently
Vice-Chairman of the Shau Kei Wan Kaifong and former member of the Eastern
City District Committec. He has shown special concern for the welfare
and recreational activities of the elderly.
Mr. CHANG Shu-yan
Headmaster of Ling Ying Primary School since 1957. He has
served the community since 1953; Chairman of Sheung Shui, Ta Kwu Ling,
Fanling and Sha Tau Kok Branch of the N.T. Schools Sports Association
since 1970.
Mr. CHAU Cheuk-ming
A long time and respected resident of Tsuen Wan. He was Chairman
of the Tsuen Wan Chamber of Commerce pi-war, ʼn founder nauber of Yan Chai
Hospital and of the Tsuen Wan Chiu Chow Welfare Association. He is how
President of the latter.
