GRANTS FROM LOTTERIES FUND TOTAL $4 MILLION
Fifteen grants totalling nearly $4.4 million have been allocated
from the Lotteries Fund to various social welfare organisations and voluntary
agencies.
This was announced in the Legislative Council today by the Financial
Secretary, the Hon. C.P. Haddon-Cave, when he moved a resolution to seek
approval of the allocation.
He said that these grants had been recommended by the Social Welfare
Advisory Committee.
