Wah was further charged with possession of two revolvers and 10 rounds of ammunition.

Inspector A. E. Carey said that they were arrested by the police, acting on information, in the house when they were discussing plans to rob a cattle dealer's house in Reclamation Street. Two revolvers, both loaded, and three daggers were found on the floor; the revolvers were claimed by Chan Wah but no one claimed the daggers. Sixteen coils of wire were also found on the premises.

Four accused were sentenced to six months' hard labour but Tse Yuk and Pun Tsi-keung, who pleaded not guilty, were discharged.
