NUREMBERG AS CONGRESS OF
PEACE
Berlin, To-day.
Persistent rumours of military actions to take place in the imme- diate future - or at all events be- fore this year's Nazi-Reich Congress
are contradicted to-day in "Na- tional-Sozialistiche Partei Corres- pondenz," published by Wilhelm Weiss, chief editor of the Nazi organ "Voelkisches Beobachter."
In an article entitled "The March to Nuremberg," extensive prepara- tions made for the "Congress of Peace" are described.
These preparations are proceed- ing to completion, it is said, “while ali around the cloud of war- mongers grows stronger and stronger from day to day and the democratic negro-minstrels try to entice peoples with their bait call- ed 'democratic freedom,' while at the same time uttering threats against all those not overcome by war psychosis and blood-thirsty mass demand !”
UNITY AND STRENGTH
After giving a comprehensive description of the organisation of the preparations for the Congress to be held at the beginning of September, it goes on:-
are
"These are Germany's often- quoted war preparations! These the the 'sinister plans' of Fuehrer! Germany's unique poli- tical organisation is preparing to celebrate the 'Congress of Peace,' which will demonstrate the unity and strength of the entire German people."-Trans-Ocean.
