"THE WHOLE THING REEKS OF COLLUSION," REMARKED THE CHIEF JUSTICE, SIR ATHOLL MACGREGOR IN THE BANKRUPTCY COURT THIS MORNING WHEN DISMISS- ING A PETITION FOR A RECEIVING ORDER AGAINST LO CHAU, TRADING AT THE WAI MAN BATTERY MANUFAC- TURING COMPANY, BY LEUNG KIN-HING, PETITIONING CREDITOR.

Mr. G. S. Ford appeared for the pe-1 titioning creditor. The petition, he stat- ed, was for a receiving order against Lo Chau, debtor.

Leung Kin-shing, petitioning credi- tor, said that the debtor owed him $1,000 on a promissory note. Although he had pressed for payment his quests were not satisfied. Therefore, he! filed the petition.

Examined by the Official Receiver. ho said his object in filing the petition was to get some of his money back. He hoped to get back 100 per cent. He heard the debtor had assets in a Trade Mark, but was not aware of any other assets. He had heard that the Trade Mark was valued at several thousands of dollars.

The Official Receiver told petitioner that the debtor had revealed that his only asset was the Trade Mark and that he believed it to be worth $2,000. Debtor also revealed that at the time he borrowed the $1,000, his liabilities were $17,000.
