U.S.R.C. will be without the ser- vices of Miss Anne Tylor, who is down with bronchitis, and it is doubtful whether she will play for some time.
! L. Goldman will probably be paired off with Mrs. Baines, his partner against Club de Recreio, while the rest of the team will pro- bably remain unchanged. K.C.C. "A" will be at full strength.
K.C.C. "B" and Recreio should be

Edrich Makes History
When W. J. Edrich, the 22-year-old
Middlesex batsman completed his 1000 five minutes to play
runs for May on May 31, he had only
Don Bradman," the Australian cap- the
tain, who performed the feat for second time last Friday, gave Edrich
his chance by declaring and giving Middlesex 15 minutes batting at the end of the day. Edrich went in want- ing 10, and as soon as he had hit them off, Bradman raced over to him and was the first to extend congratulations. NOT A TIP, BUT—
He has not entered a horse for the 1939 Derby, so that unless he buys one that has already been en- tered (as he bought Bois Roussel from a Frenchman a few weeks ago) he will not be represented at Epsom next year. All horses must be entered as yearlings at least 18 months before the race.
This isn't a tip for 1939, but it's an interesting fact that Mr. Beatty bought Bois Roussel, has entered four horses and one of them, Atout Maitre, was sired by Vatout, the father of Bois Roussel.
-TOM WALLS'S ENTRY Next in the list of entries is Mr. whose Tom Walls's Spring Tide,
the father, April the Fifth, won Derby in 1932.
1930-D. G. Bradman.
1938-D. G. Bradman. 1938-W. J. Edrich.
Grace, Hammond, and Hallows ac- tually scored all their runs during the month of May.
