SOVIET SEARCH FOR MISSING AIRMAN

Moscow. To-day.

The search for the missing So- viet plane which was attempting a flight from Moscow to Fair- banks, Alaska, via the North Pole, is still being continued by the Russian authorities.

Several Russian radio. stations, says an official announcement, have intercepted faint wireless calls on the wave length used by the fiers" emergency transmitter.

The calls, however, were so in- distinct that they could not be, un- derstood.
