IT is fully expected that the Indian RC. will take a more prominent position in the senior league next year. The high class bowling served up against the Civil Service team last Saturday is responsible for this statement, and in the opinion of a well known Civil Service player, and it is shared by many others from first class clubs, the Indians, as a team, have shown phenomenal pro- gress, which speaks well for the future.
Sa-a-pleasant thought this, and could the Chinese be in- duced to take up the game and enter a team into one of the leagues our cup of happiness would be filled to the brim, and the League programme made complete. This has been discussed already and a hearty invitation extended to the Chinese gentle men who were then considering the matter.. - Those conditions are not altered, and hopes are still entertained that the Chinese

My forecast concerning the results of all the bowling matches last Saturday was correct. I would like to sympathise with the Civil Service team in not having realised their hopes. To at least equalled the number of points made by the K.C.C I season, and should the K.BG.C. decide to run two teams in the seems, however, that there may be no need for relegation: next semior league, the number of teams therein may merely be made an even number, that is the senior league will be composed of. 10 teams instead of nine, as it is at present.
