Senator King, after a call at the White House, said that President Roosevelt was “satisfied” with the administration of the Silver Par chase Act, for which reason Mr. King expected that the meeting of the special Senate Silver Commit tee, scheduled for October 12 at Salt Lake City, would not recom mend a modification of the Silver Act
