In a match of fluctuating fortunes, S. Eccles- all and J. Shepherd beat D. W. Waterton and J. L. etley, the K.B.G.C. pair by 5 shots. The clash LR.C. AND-C.B.A. as featured by very close scoring, the losers aintaining the lead from the 8th end, after a dead ead had occurred on the 5th end. They held their ead until the 18th head, where they were dogged y bad luck, a dead head, the second, proving the urning point from which Eccleshall and Shepherd cored on the next three heads for victory.

It was a pity that the Open Pairs encounter between Dr. B. Esto and J. E Noronha and D. Rumjahn and E. el Arculli, played the K.C.C. green. culminated in the darkness, for the latter pair. Ithough finally defeated by 3 shots, were in a position to come on vel terms, but the semi-darkness in which the last heads were yed spelt their ruin Noronha was the pick of the four bowlers nd was responsible for most of the scoring..
