NIPPON v. H.K.C.C. At King's Park, the Nippon Club lost to the Hong Kong C.C., KOWLOON'S FIRST DEFEAT. by three sets to six. Scores:--

N. Nomura and K. Suenaga (Nippon) :- By defeating Kowloon Cricket lost to C. E. Holmes and Club on Saturday, Hong Kong O. E. C. Marton Cricket Club have enhanced their beat R K. Valentine and chances in the "A" division of the

W. A. Nowers ...... Tennis League. The latter had lost to E. J. R. Mitchell and previously won three matches in H. B. Remington ....... succession and were regarded as T. Fujieda and K. Yoshi- strong contendera for the cham-kawa (Nippon) pionship..

lost to C. E. Holmes and Indian Recreation Club, in their O. E. C. Marton initial fixture, got the better of beat R. K. Valentine. and the University at Pokfulam. At W. A. Nowers...... King's Park, Chinese Recreation lost to E. J. R. Mitchell and Club (champions last year) H. R. Remington swamped Club de Recreio.

"B" & "C" Divisions The "B" team of the H.K.C.C. defeated Nippon Club and have uusted Chinese R.C. from the top position of the table. Losing to the European Y.M.C.A., Indian R.C. remain in the bottom rung. As expected, Kowloon C.C. went under to Mitsui Bussan Kaisha.

After their first reverse (to C.R.C. in mid-week), Civil Ser- vice Cricket Club accounted for the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and retain the lead in the "C" division. After two defeats, In- dían R.C. scored a victory at the exponse of Royal Engineers and Royal Corps of Signals.
