The scheme to supply filtered water to this district mentioned in paragraph 56 (d) of the 1935 Report, was practically completed at the end of the year, and is described in paragraph 14 of this Report. Unfiltered water has been available under the new scheme since July, and it is hoped that filtered water will be available early in 1937.
(e) Deep Water Bay R.B.L. 245 - A constant supply was maintained throughout the year. The total quantity of unfiltered water supplied was 2.27 million gallons, equivalent to an average daily consumption of 6,200 gallons. Details are given in Table VIII.
